Trump signed an executive order pulling the United States out of the Paris climate agreement for the second time.
“I am revoking nearly 80 disruptive, radical executive actions of the previous administration,” Trump said.
Trump pulled out of the agreement in 2017 during his first administration.
Will Scharf, White House staff secretary and a former Trump personal lawyer who was announcing the executive orders, said they would also be sending a letter to the United Nations informing the U.N. that the U.S. is pulling out of the global agreement.
