Obamacare site will be down in weekend ‘off hours’ to fix glitches

Don’t expect the Obamacare website to function during “off-peak” hours over the weekend — Department of Health and Human Services officials will be taking it down then for maintenance.

“To make further improvements to the system, we will be taking down the application part of the website for scheduled maintenance during off-peak hours over the weekend,” HHS spokeswoman Joanne Peters announced Friday in an email release.
