At least four people, including a toddler, were shot in Seattle on Sunday afternoon in a Central District neighborhood, and police are now searching for the suspect.
Authorities responded to reports of gunshots near a Walgreens at the intersection of 23rd Avenue South and Jackson Street just before 3:30 p.m. Three men and one girl, who was approximately 2 years old, were struck and inflicted with bullet wounds and taken to nearby medical facilities. The ages of the men were not disclosed.
No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting, though police said there is more than one suspect and that they remain at large, according to the Seattle Times.
Two of the men and the 2-year-old were transported to Harborview Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Susan Gregg said. The two men were in satisfactory condition. It was not clear which hospital the fourth victim was taken to, and information about his condition was not immediately available.
The child was in critical condition following the shooting, Seattle Police Detective Valerie Carson said in a statement.
Officers at the scene found bullet shell casings and blood, according to KOMO News.

At least one pedestrian gunman was walking south on 23rd Avenue and fired his weapon east into the parking lot of a strip mall near an AutoZone where the victims were struck, Carson told the Seattle Times.
Northbound lanes leading to the scene were blocked by police, advising commuters to seek alternate routes due to the investigation. It is not clear if the area is still restricted for investigation.
At 9:22 p.m. local time, authorities issued an update to their report on the shooting, saying, “Previous information indicated there were possibly only three victims, but police have now confirmed four victims of this shooting.”
