CHICAGO (AP) — Two Chicago teenagers are charged as adults in the death of a bystander hit by gunfire intended for someone else.

Cook County prosecutors allege 15-year-old Denzel Burke was encouraged by an adult member of the Conservative Vice Lords to wound a rival. Prosecutors say Burke’s friend, 17-year-old Michael Phillips, also encouraged Burke to shoot the 19-year-old target.
