The marquee matchup in Virginia’s 2025 elections has been set, and Democrats are unveiling their blueprint as they seek sweeping wins in the Old Dominion.
In November, Republican Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears and former Democratic Rep. Abigail Spanberger will face off to succeed term-limited Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-VA). Other elections will also be held to determine the lieutenant governor, attorney general, and control of the House of Delegates.
