Tara Reade flipped a question about taking a polygraph test to boost her sexual assault and harassment claims against Joe Biden back onto him.
“I’m not a criminal. Joe Biden should take the polygraph,” Reade said. “What kind of precedent does that set for survivors of violence? Does that mean we’re presumed guilty, and we all have to take polygraphs? So, I will take one if Joe Biden takes one.”
The question about the polygraph came during Reade’s first on-camera interview, with former Fox News host Megyn Kelly, since Biden personally denied Reade’s allegations on Friday.
Reade also reiterated that she was willing to go under oath about her claims, as Christine Blasey Ford did during Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing.
“I will cooperate with law enforcement of any investigation going forward or in the future, and go under oath if I need to about what happened,” Reade told the Washington Examiner last week.
Reade also told Kelly that she thought Biden should drop out of the presidential race. Earlier on Thursday, the law firm Wigdor LLP announced that it was representing Reade.
