Ryan Favorability in Ohio: 51 Percent

According to a poll from Rasmussen, Paul Ryan as 51 percent favorability with likely voters in Ohio, a crucial Midwestern swing state Mitt Romney may need to pick up to win the White House. Ryan, a Midwesterner himself from Wisconsin, has 39 percent unfavorability among likely voters in the Buckeye State.

Ryan’s numbers in Ohio mirror his national numbers, which show him with 50 percent favorability, the highest among the four major candidates.

The RealClearPolitics poll average shows Barack Obama with a (shrinking) 4-point lead in Ohio, and today’s Rasmussen poll shows the two campaigns are tied there.
