Rep. Renee Ellmers not worried about failed ‘American Idol’ candidate challenging her

Rep. Renee Ellmers, R-N.C., isn’t worried about former “American Idol” contestant Clay Aiken trying to unseat her.

“As we know he doesn’t always fare all that well,” the Raleigh News and Observer quoted her telling Washington radio station WMAL. “He was runner-up.”
