Jeremy Corbyn reminds us that he is a living Monty Python sketch

President Trump is correct: Jeremy Corbyn is a “negative” force in politics.

But Corbyn’s issues run deeper than mere negativity. The leader of Britain’s Labour Party opposition is also a Monty Python caricature. A far-left fanatic promising a fairer society, Corbyn is a contradiction in terms. His most absurd Monty Python-esque characteristic is his moral preaching. Because judged against his record, Corbyn’s moral authority runs about as deep as Joseph Goebbels’ regard for moral truth.

I note this in light of Corbyn’s address to protesters on Tuesday who oppose Trump’s ongoing state visit to Britain. That speech was a masterclass in Corbyn’s repugnant foreign policy hypocrisy.

Attacking U.S. policy in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria — which is centered on supporting democratic governance and the protection of innocent peoples against sectarian terror — Corbyn called for a new world of peace and tranquility. Presumably, Corbyn’s peace efforts here will center on his previous employer, revolutionary Iran.

Recall that Corbyn was previously employed by the Iranian hardliner faction aligned with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Whomever Corbyn might choose as his partner in peace, we can be confident that it wouldn’t be America. The socialist’s hatred for the United States is undeniable.

Corbyn wasn’t done, however.

Calling for “peace and disarmament,” the Labour chief again illustrated his delusion as to foreign adversary threats. Note here that Corbyn’s deference to Vladimir Putin is near-absolute. Declaring his commitment to fight anti-Semitism, Corbyn apparently forgot his record of anti-Semitism. This is a continuing problem: Corbyn recently even appointed himself his own anti-Semitism watchdog.

I could go on, but the basic point is that Trump’s state visit is going well thus far, with just one exception: Trump should have met Corbyn and told him what he thinks of him. Oh, and given the Labour leader an appropriate nickname.
