President Donald Trump began his address to the United Nations General Assembly by patting himself on the back regarding the work done in his second administration while bashing his predecessor, former President Joe Biden.
“America is respected again, like it has never been respected before,” Trump said.
“During this eight-month period, in my first term, I built the greatest economy in the history of the world,” he added.
He bashed the Biden administration’s border policies, saying, “We have successfully repelled a colossal invasion.”
He also touched on his trade war, saying his “administration has negotiated one historic trade deal after another, including with the United Kingdom, the European Union, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and many, many others.”
