Saturday’s debate was full of awkward. In her closing, Hillary Clinton evoked Star Wars. Perhaps she thought it would help her with Millenials.
Hillary let her lasting impression be “thank you, goodnight, and may the Force be with you.”

Not all found the attempt clever or funny, including Heather Dockray for Mashable. Dockray even wrote “Ugh” in her headline. The lamenting didn’t stop there. Dockray wrote how “the lame puns—and branded jokes—have only grown stronger. Sometimes, it feels like there will be no end to the weak wordplay.”
Hillary’s closing was referred to as “a very brave attempt at a mic drop,” but Dockray also pointed to how the “laughter and groans could be heard all across Twitter.”
