Sessions: Hillary will pack Supreme Court to win amnesty for illegals

Claiming that the fight over President Obama’s push for amnesty to nearly 5 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. is “far from over,” Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions on Thursday warned that Hillary Clinton will pack the court with liberals to go ever further than Obama to embrace the 12 million illegals in the country.

In a statement praising the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to continue blocking the president’s executive action, aimed at illegal immigrant children and their parents, Sessions said:

“This administration’s lawless actions fly in the face of the will of the American people. And yet, despite having the most radical immigration policies in our nation’s history, Hillary Clinton has promised to go even further than President Obama if she becomes President – promising to deport only violent felons and terrorists. Moreover, if she gains the ability to appoint a new Justice to the Supreme Court, the outcome of a challenge to a similar executive amnesty could come out the other way.”

The next president will dictate the political direction of the court by breaking the current 4-4 tie and appointing a replacement for the late Justice Antonin Scalia.

Sessions, one of Obama’s top critics on immigration policy and an advisor to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, has been warning about how a liberal court will open the doors to more illegal immigration.
