POMONA, Calif. (AP) — A Southern California man who killed his mother, buried her in the backyard and confessed a decade later, is going to prison.

City News Service says 30-year-old John Huynh was sentenced Thursday to 26 years to life. He was convicted of first-degree murder in March.
