Former Detroit Pistons star Isiah Thomas has managed to upset lots of folks in New York. As the coach and president of basketball operations for the New York Knicks, his leadership has been questionable at best — and he was recently sued for sexual harassment by a female employee of the Knicks organization.
Well, he didn’t manage to woo any Washingtonians, either , during his recent visit. The Knicks, in town to ultimately lose to the Wizards on Thursday night, stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel. When a kid waiting outside the hotel sought an autograph, Thomas declined, saying he has “a deal with Upper Deck” (a sports card company).
