CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It might be a little expensive at $150,000-$300,000, but if Democrats want to take another stab at comparing Republicans to Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels, they ought to consider buying a massive new collection of Goebbels’ writings for their fact checking shop.
Alexander Historical Auctions Inc. told Secrets that they plan to auction off an extensive archive of the propaganda chief’s writings, from report cards, letters from family and friends, and schools essays to desperate love letters and narcissistic scribbling, from maudlin poetry and musings to doctoral theses and dramas.
Memories of Goebbels invaded the Democratic Convention this week Paul Burton, chair of the California Democratic Party, accused the GOP of spinning like Goebbels. “They lie and they don’t care if people think they lie. As long as you lie, Joseph Goebbels, the big lie, you keep repeating it, you know,” he said in comments he later apologized for.
The sale is scheduled for later this month. Describing it, Alexander President Bill Panagopulos told Secrets:
