Sen. Bernie Sanders dismissed questions about Hillary Clinton’s private emails as “media stuff” during the second Democratic debate Saturday evening.
“That’s just media stuff,” Sanders said when pressed on whether he had reconsidered comments from the first debate in which he said the American people were “sick and tired” of hearing about Clinton’s emails.

“I was sick and tired of Hillary Clinton’s emails,” Sanders said. “I am still sick and tired of Hillary Clinton’s emails.”
“The problem is, the front pages every day are dealing with it,” he added.
Observers have questioned whether Sanders gave up a major campaign advantage over his Democratic rival by waiving his ability to exploit what is seen as her greatest weakness. He seemed in interviews to be walking this back slightly.
Clinton also dismissed questions about her emails Saturday, even though moderator John Dickerson asked her whether another shoe was set to drop from the FBI investigation into her handling of sensitive material.
“I think after 11 hours, that’s pretty clear,” Clinton responded, referring to her testimony last month before the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
However, the congressional probe is completely unrelated to the ongoing FBI investigation, and the latter probe is reportedly expanding.
