Porn star Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti responded Friday to President Trump’s newest lawyer and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s claim that he was an “amateur.”
In a text message, Giuliani said “You must be kidding. What a supreme jerk. I don’t debate bankrupt amateurs,” in reference to Avenatti.
Avenatti posted to Twitter indicating that Giuliani was the real amateur because he hadn’t tried a case in over 15 years, and instead was “playing footsies” with politicians.
“Mr. Giuliani: ‘Amateur’? While I’ve been fighting for people and trying cases to juries the last 15+ yrs, you’ve been playing footsie with every politician you could find,” Avenatti posted to Twitter Friday. “When did you last try a case to verdict? Was it this century? Mine was last yr for $454MM. #Waiting #Basta”
