While the Obamas did not attend the 2011 nuptials of his brother, Prince William, royal commentators are speculating the former first couple may get an invitation to the spring 2018 wedding.
Obama and Prince Harry most recently appeared together in Toronto, Canada, in October at an Invictus Games wheelchair basketball game. The Invictus Games is a multi-sport event created by the prince for injured military personnel and veterans.
Prince Harry and Markle’s engagement was announced by Prince Charles’ office at Clarence House.
