Crews rescue man suspended from rope at Md. dam

ABINGDON, Md. (AP) — Authorities say emergency crews have rescued a man who was suspended from a rope at a dam in Harford County.

Aberdeen Proving Ground officials say crews called to the Atkisson Dam near Abingdon on Wednesday morning found the man suspended from a rope on the spillway side of the dam, but he was alert and responsive. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
