Trump to rally in Nashville to celebrate 'booming economy helping Tennessee families'

President Trump will hold a campaign rally in Nashville at the end of the month to celebrate “booming economy helping Tennessee families.”

A statement from his 2020 re-election campaign on Saturday plugged Trump’s economic policies and GOP tax reform that he signed into law late last year.

“At the rally, President Trump will join with patriotic Tennesseans to celebrate the booming economy that is helping families throughout the state thanks to his historic tax cuts and job-creating policies,” the statement said.

The rally will take place at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on May 29th at 7 p.m. The event will be the fifth campaign-style rally Trump has held in Tennessee since he announced he was running for president in 2015.

According to the Tennessean, Trump will also headline a Nashville fundraiser for Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., who is running for U.S. Senate.

Trump won Tennessee in the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton by about 26 percent.
