Clark Construction led a five-week renovation of the Washington home of a disabled Afghanistan veteran. In 2009, Army medic Sgt. Johnny Agbi and his unit were captured. Though the group managed to escape their helicopter was gunned down and Agbi and another soldier were blown out of the aircraft. The soldiers, initially presumed dead, were rescued several days later. Due to his injuries Agbi must now use a wheelchair. Clark Construction and dozens of subcontractors renovated Agbi’s row house to make it wheelchair accessible. They also painted, installed new appliances and repaired the ceilings and lights. In addition the companies, which donated their services, lowered the basement and finished the basement.
