War Secretary Pete Hegseth and Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are giving updates on the paused U.S.-Israeli war with Iran at a press briefing.
The briefing is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.

The two military leaders have provided updates on Operation Epic Fury since its start on Feb. 28, but the briefings have been less frequent since a ceasefire was reached earlier this month. President Donald Trump extended the ceasefire on Tuesday, though the U.S. has continued to enforce its naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, with live fire when necessary.
Operation Epic Fury has been the most intensive air campaign of the 21st century, with initial estimates of roughly 1,000 sorties per day.
