A Los Angeles County health inspector was seen breaking into dance after ordering a brewery to close down for Super Bowl Sunday.
“An LA County health inspector dances moments after ordering @BraveryBrewing to close,” reported iHeartMedia correspondent Steven Gregory on Twitter. “She ended up being wrong. Ruined BB’s Super Bowl business. If your restaurant has been bullied/intimidated by LA County Health, DM me.”

Bart Avery, one of the owners of the brewery, said his business has been “decimated financially and emotionally” by the state’s coronavirus restrictions.
Avery said he wasn’t sure why the inspector started dancing, but he noted that “the perception really sucks.” He also revealed that before dancing, the health department official told one of his employees that they could be out of a job.
It also turned out that the business was shut down in error. The inspector originally shut down the brewery due to the absence of a food truck on site but later realized that the establishment was only offering draft beers to go and was not required under California guidelines to provide food.
California businesses have struggled to keep their doors open in the state, which has the strictest coronavirus restrictions in the country, with a slow vaccination rollout leaving many to wonder when things will return to somewhat normal.
The Los Angeles County Health Department did not immediately respond to the Washington Examiner’s request for comment.
