It’s no secret that Democrats are the party of failed, horrendous border security policies and suppressing illegal immigration enforcement. They promoted policies that led to millions of illegal immigrants entering the country, many with violent criminal records, during the Biden administration, contributing to the murders of innocent American women Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, and Jocelyn Nungaray, among others.  In 2026, Democrats’ political games caused the shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security for over 75 days in an attempt to sabotage the Trump administration’s illegal immigration enforcement policies. 

During the shutdown, Rep. Matt Van Epps (R-TN) rightfully criticized the Democrats’ sabotage efforts of DHS, blasting the left-wing political party for stalling funding and their hateful, divisive rhetoric about Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, calling their comments “despicable.”
