No surprises in Virginia

Keith Fimian, Scott Rigell and Robert Hurt all look like they’re on their way to GOP nominations for U.S. House. They will face off against Democratic Reps. Gerry Connolly, Glenn Nye and Tom Perriello, respectively. Results are here.

The closest thing to a “surprise” is Fimian’s 20-plus-point lead, which makes him an early evening winner. Most people expected a closer race in Northern Virginia’s 11th District.
