Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross appeared to have caught a few Z’s while President Trump was addressing the United Nations’ General Assembly.

In a statement provided to the Washington Examiner, Ross said the stories and soical media posts about him sleep is “fake news.”

“I wear hearing aids, and during President Trump’s inspiring speech, which covered in detail the entire range of significant issues facing the world, I was concentrating on what was being said,” Ross explained.

Ross said his “is not the schedule of someone with low energy,” which included meeting with the leaders of the United Kingdom, India, and South Korea after Trump’s speech.

During Trump’s speech in New York City, he said the future does not belong to globalists, but rather, “The future belongs to patriots. The future belongs to sovereign and independent nations who protect their citizens, respect their neighbors, and honor the differences that make each country special and unique.”

He added that because the U.S. does not wish to have a war with Iran, there will be tough sanctions on the country after they have been blamed for the Sept. 14 attack on two facilities run by Saudi Arabia’s state-owned oil company, Aramco.
