Trump’s midterm convention crowd boos John Thune

President Donald Trump’s olive branch to Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) fell on deaf ears Wednesday night in Dallas.

Trump has consistently voiced displeasure with Thune’s job leading the Senate Republican caucus over his failures to pass the SAVE America Act and eliminate the filibuster, though he has said he personally likes the South Dakotan.
