King Abdullah II, the monarch of Jordan, devoted almost his entire speech at the United Nations General Assembly to slamming Israeli policies in the Palestinian territories and warning that Jerusalem will seek to expand further into the Middle East.

Speaking to the assembly on Tuesday, Abdullah offered brief praise to President Donald Trump’s peace agreement to rebuild Gaza, but accused the Israeli government of ignoring all opportunities to end hostilities in favor of “destruction and discrediting its critics.”
