Nancy Pelosi mocks John Boehner on Twitter for jobs tweet

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) sent out a tweet Tuesday to direct individuals to the “5 points 4 jobs” post on his website, which spotlights the “five key things we must do as a nation” to bring America back to work.

The Twitter post listed numbers one through five and included the link to Boehner’s “5 points 4 jobs” webpage, thereby baiting interested parties to click on the web address and read the post.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) took the opportunity to accuse Boehner on Twitter for having a “blank agenda” on jobs creation.

“A few ideas for your blank agenda, Mr. Speaker,” wrote Pelosi, taking the opportunity to outline a predictable liberal agenda.

If Pelosi had taken the time to click on Boehner’s link, she would have seen his own proposed actions for helping American workers: reforming the tax code, legal system and regulatory system, fixing the nation’s spending problem, and improving the education system.

Pelosi’s tweet points to the utter unwillingness of congressional Democrats to work with their Republican counterparts to enact real change, especially when it comes to American jobs. No wonder dozens of jobs bills are stuck in the Democrat-led Senate.

And Pelosi says Democrats aren’t responsible for the gridlock in Congress.

Perhaps all that chocolate ice cream has gone to her head.
