Gov. Wes Moore (D-MD) is taking a swing around neighboring Virginia to campaign for Democrats in key congressional races this weekend.
Moore, who has shot down speculation that he could run for president in 2028, has maintained that he wants to be a part of the conversations about the future of his party. Moore has also committed to helping Democrats in the midterm elections, telling Politico in May, “I’m hungry, but I’m not thirsty,” referring to his focus on the 2026 elections rather than 2028.
