The Bush family welcomed new life into their family just days after the loss of former first lady Barbara Bush.
While the family mourned the loss of their matriarch, Lauren Bush Lauren, the granddaughter of Barbara and George H.W. Bush and daughter of Neil Bush, gave birth to a son on Friday.
Paying his respects to his mother, Neil Bush concluded a Facebook post by announcing the birth of his grandson: “And then two days later, yesterday morning, two weeks before her due date, Lauren Bush Lauren gave birth to a beautiful 7 lb 8 oz baby boy Max Walker Lauren. The circle of life. God is good.”
Barbara Bush died on Tuesday at the age of 92 after a battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and congestive heart failure.
