Authorities are looking for a murder suspect who has been a fugitive for 30 years, and the public’s help is sought to bring him to justice. Larry William Fishman is wanted for the slaying of his father in Silver Spring. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office still considers this an active case and is working to get more information.
Fishman, then 29, allegedly entered the home of his parents on the evening of Nov. 28, 1980. According to the FBI, Fishman spoke to his parents briefly, then shot his mother in the neck and his father four times in the back with a 9 mm pistol. Fishman’s father died at the scene, though his mother recovered from the shooting.
