Lies about Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers are becoming a bit of a national pastime in today’s political climate. In several instances, people have claimed ICE officers have engaged in monstrous behavior, only for it to be revealed later that the people making such claims were the monsters themselves. The most recent example involves Gurinder Gill, a Sacramento man who claimed ICE “disappeared” his wife but was later charged with murdering her. When informed of the alleged brutal crime, the White House condemned the incident, calling it “another ICE hoax.”
Jasmine Gill, 30, was last seen Sept. 30 and was reported missing by her cousin Oct. 4, according to reports. When local authorities questioned Gurinder Gill, he claimed that ICE officers had arrested Jasmine Gill and made her disappear while she was collecting mail at their Sacramento, California, home. The husband told the police the oft-repeated left-wing horror story of ICE officers taking innocent immigrants off the street as part of the Trump administration’s illegal immigration enforcement operations.
