Sen. Chris Murphy hospitalized after suffering stroke, office says

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) was hospitalized after suffering a stroke on Saturday afternoon.

Allison Herwitt, Murphy’s chief of staff, said the 53-year-old senator is receiving medical care at Johns Hopkins Hospital and his team expects him to make a full recovery.
