Anne Arundel police search for shooting victim

Police in Anne Arundel County continue to look for a man who was shot and then forced into the trunk of a car at 5102 Brookwood Road on April 14, though they have located the girlfriend of the man suspected in the crime. Sierra Anderson, 19, of Baltimore, was located in Baltimore Tuesday, according to a news release issued by Anne Arundel County police Wednesday.

Anderson was not charged by police. Police were interested in questioning Anderson after her boyfriend, Antonio Moore, 20, of Baltimore, allegedly shot a man who police identified as Michael Jay Francis, 21. Police said Moore shot Francis with an assault rifle, and then pushed him into the trunk of a stolen car. The car was found at the intersection of Christian Road and Brookwood Road in Baltimore with Francis? blood and clothing inside, police said. An arrest warrant was subsequently issued charging Moore with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and kidnapping.
