CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a man who crashed into another car during a high-speed chase in Northern California, injuring a driver, was convicted 10 years ago of killing a prison officer in another car accident.
The Sacramento Bee (http://bit.ly/1t59Pd1 ) reports that 39-year-old Scott Richard St. Pierre had an outstanding felony warrant from Placer County. The pursuit began Thursday night when Citrus Heights police officers spotted him and he wouldn’t stop.
