Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., is headed to early-voting New Hampshire in February where she will be the keynote speaker at a state Democratic Party dinner.
“Sen. Warren will join hundred of activists and Democratic officials at this celebration of New Hampshire Democrats, who, in November, successfully won back control of the Executive Council, State Senate, State House, and kept the federal delegation entirely blue,” the New Hampshire Democratic Party announced in a statement Wednesday.
The 60th McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner, which will be held Feb. 22, was established in 1959, and every Democrat who became president and or vice president has attended and spoken at the event.
Warren announced last week that she was launching an exploratory committee in a step towards making a bid for president.
The Massachusetts Democrat is the first big name to make steps towards officially launching a bid in what is expected to be a crowded Democratic primary race.
Over the weekend, Warren tested the 2020 waters by attending events across Iowa, the first-in-the-nation caucus state.
