In tonight’s Republican presidential debate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Mitt Romney declined to state directly whether he would release his income tax returns.
“I hadn’t planned on releasing tax records,” Romney told the crowd in response to a question from moderator Bret Baier. “If that’s been the tradition, I’m not opposed to doing that. Time will tell. I anticipate that most likely I’ll get asked to do that around the April time period.”
