One-time vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin questioned why 16 years’ worth of male VP candidates got to sit for their debates while she, a woman, had to stand.
“How is it that the dudes lucked out and got chairs over the last 20 years of VP debates minus one?” Palin posted on Facebook after Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine took their seats opposite one another Tuesday night.
“Want a real test – try standing in [heels] for 90 mins #heelsonglovesoff.”
Palin made history as the first female Republican vice presidential nominee when Sen. John McCain tapped her as his running mate in 2008.
