WASHINGTON (AP) — In a story Oct. 23 about the House passing a water projects bill, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Taxpayers for Common Sense was among the groups that supported the government shutdown. Taxpayers for Common Sense opposed the government shutdown and argued against it. The story also erroneously reported that $12 billion in shelved projects were part of the last water resources bill passed in 2007. The shelved projects were not part of the 2007 law.
