The Senate passed a measure to reopen the partially closed government until Feb. 15 following a deal announced by President Trump on Friday.

The measure now heads to the House, where lawmakers are expected to clear it for Trump’s signature today.

The bill would end the longest shutdown in history. It does not include money for a southern border wall that Trump has been seeking since taking office.

Dozens of agencies and nine departments have been partially closed since Dec. 22 and have become increasingly strained by the impasse.

The deal includes creating a conference committee between the House and the Senate to negotiate border security deal that Trump said would include money for a border wall. Democrats won’t promise wall money and said they prefer technology and improving security at ports of entry.
