Melissa Francis, one of the hosts of Fox News midday show Outnumbered, may not be at the network much longer.
The 47-year-old personality, who also hosts the Fox Business program After The Bell, hasn’t been on-air in more than two weeks, though the network told the Washington Examiner on Thursday that she hasn’t been fired. A Fox News spokesperson said that the organization is considering changes to its programming lineup.

“FOX News Media regularly considers programming changes, including to its daytime lineup, and will launch new formats as appropriate after the election. These changes are being made independent of any other ongoing matter,” a spokesperson for the network said in a statement.
Both independent reporter Yashar Ali and the Los Angeles Times reported that her absence coincides with a gender-based pay discrimination claim she made against the company that has been in arbitration.
A Fox News spokesperson declined to comment on Francis’s claim.
Francis was a child actress, with her most prominent appearance being two seasons of Little House on the Prairie. Francis has been at Fox News for six years, Fox Business for eight years, and before that, she spent time at the financial news channel CNBC.
