[WATCH] Hot mic catches woman expressing disgust toward pro-life question on Obamacare

It might be a good idea to turn off the microphone before making a negative remark about a pro-life line of questioning.

The House Energy and Commerce Committee gathered Wednesday to hear testimony from Department of House and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on the disastrous rollout of Obamacare’s health insurance exchange. Just as Rep. John Shimkus (R-Ill.) began his line of questioning on the law’s requirement for coverage of abortion  drugs, a woman was caught expressing her utter disgust.

“If someone, a constituent of mine or someone in this country, has strongly-held pro-life views…” Shimkus begins.

“Oh, here we go,” the unidentified woman said on a hot mic.

“…can you commit to us to make sure that the federal exchanges that offer that are clearly identified so people can understand if they’re going to buy a policy that has abortion coverage or not?” Shimkus continues.

Though the woman has yet to be named, The Atlantic speculated it could have been Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.), who questioned Sebelius prior to Shimkus and may not have switched off her microphone.

Check out the exchange below.
