A plane crash killed 10 people Sunday near Addison, Texas, around 20 miles north of Dallas.
Town spokeswoman Mary Rosenbleeth told the Associated Press that no one survived the fiery crash, which the Federal Aviation Administration said took place when a twin-engine Beechcraft BE-350 King Air careened into an unoccupied hanger at the Addison Municipal Airport at around 9 a.m.
“It looked like it was clearly reduced power,” witness David Snell told local KDFW TV. “I didn’t know if it was on purpose or not, but then, when the plane started to veer to the left, and you could tell it couldn’t climb. My friend and I looked at each other and we’re like, ‘Oh my God. They’re going to crash.'”
The Dallas County medical examiners confirmed the deaths, but were not yet able to release information on the identity of those who were killed. Federal officials said that of the deceased, two were crew and eight were passengers.
