Goucher College will have some big shoes to fill when the college basketball season begins this fall.
Jonathan Garritt, the 30th-leading scorer in Division III, was a senior guard last season and Goucher will need to replace his potent scoring ability.

Head coach Leonard Trevino, who will be in his 16th season at the school, saw his team lose in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference tournament last year. Trevino has an opening for an assistant coach. The team opens the season with a home game on Nov. 18 against Maryland Bible College.
Johns Hopkins
Along with eight of the Blue Jays top 10 players from last season, head coach Bill Nelson enters his 21st season with Johns Hopkins after leading the team to an 18-8 record last season.
The Blue Jays? only losses were senior guards Bobby Sharafeddin and Jeff Thompson. Nelson and his three returning starters look to rebound from a loss to Ursinus in the Centennial Conference championship game.
Still equipped with its top three scorers and top two rebounders from the 2005-2006 season, the Blue Jays will start the season by hosting three teams at the Nov. 17 Blue Jay Invitational Tournament.
McDaniel
After a 9-16 season last year, head coach Bob Flynn returns with several new prospects poised to make a difference for the Green Terror.
The team lost three seniors, including one starter, but two exciting transfers and two freshmen join the squad with hopes of improving on last year?s sub-.500 finish.
Forward Brett Foelber, who transferred from Division III power Randolph-Macon of Virginia, will provide an offensive spark, as will guard Ryan Brandenburg.
Freshman guard Miguel Jones, the MVP of the Anne Arundel County all-star game last season, will play for the Green Terror after graduating from North County High. Flynn plans to replace assistant coach Seth Goldberg, who took a coaching job at a high school in Virginia. The Green Terror will begin the season with the Lebanon Valley Tip-Off Tournament in November.
