Autopsy to be available for Baltimore Co. man

The autopsy results for a Baltimore County man who died in police custody will be available today, said employee at the state?s Medical Examiner.

Ryan Lee Meyers, 40, of Middle River, died Friday night after officers used a Taser stun gun to subdue him, Baltimore County police said.

Meyer?s mother called 911 because her son attacked the family with a baseball bat at their home on Keeners Road, according to police.

Police fired the Taser when Meyers refused to drop the bat. Meyers fought the electric shock and officers who approached to handcuff him.

Police said Meyers became unresponsive and went into cardiac arrest. He was declared dead upon arrival at Franklin Square Medical Hospital.
