It’s not every day you get close enough to the leader of the free world to give him a bear hug.
So when one young man in attendance at the arrival ceremony for Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison had that opportunity, he took it.
As President Trump made his way down a handshake line, a young man in a smart gray suit and tie could not contain his excitement at being so close to the president. Wearing sunglasses and sporting a short haircut, his hands quivered with excitement as Trump approached.
He turned toward a parent to signal he was in prime position. He then leaped at Trump with his arms wide open and delivered a huge hug.
Trump will hold a joint press conference with Morrison on Friday before a state dinner later this evening.
