Though he be but little, he gives quite an interview. When a Pennsylvania news reporter asked five-year-old Noah Ritter what he thought of a ride at the Wayne County Fair, she didn’t know she had picked a kid articulate enough to steal the show.
“It was great and apparently, I’ve never been on live television before,” Ritter said, when asked about the ride. “Apparently, sometimes I don’t watch the news because I’m a kid and because every time, apparently, Grandpa just gives me the remote after we watch the Powerball.”
He continued, without prompting, to explain how the ride was fun because “apparently you’re spinning around and every time you get dizzy.”
Despite the distractions of the fair, he stayed focused on the camera and the questions he was asked, which is pretty good for a kid who hasn’t even started kindergarten yet.
“I never, ever been on live television,” he repeated, lest you think he had been coached.
Pennsylvania reporters can rest easy though. Despite his natural camera presence, Noah wants to be a paleontologist when he grows up.
