Guinea-Bissau acting president says elections soon

BISSAU, Guinea Bissau (AP) — Guinea-Bissau’s interim president pledged to hold elections before the end of the year.

Interim President Manuel Serifo Mhamadjo spoke to the press Sunday after returning to the country after spending just over a month in Germany where he received medical treatment.
