Howard bills sit idle in House

The Howard state delegation has filed 10 local bills, ranging from state bond funding for parks to beer-tasting licenses.

The bills were first heard on the House side, but no Senate action has been taken on them.

Based on the Maryland General Assembly Web site, status of the bills is as follows:

» House Bill 167: Granting residents a property tax credit for land owned jointly with Howard Housing Commission.
